(A) This formula is for our 1500 series & 1560 series Rough opening for the Width of a single door: is 2 X door width + 1″ [25mm] — Double doors is 4 X door width ( do not add extra inch for double doors ) Rough opening for the Height is your door height + 4 1/4″ (114mm)

For our 2000 series the only difference is the Height you will need your door Height + 6 3/4″ .

Hi
I have an opening of 58″ wide by 84 high. I want to put double pocket doors so that when you open one they both open. What is the amount of wall space I will need on each side of the door. I would imagine that each door would be approx. 29″ wide.
Thanks,
Mary

Have a customer who wants a pocket door for an 8 foot tall
door by 34 inches wide. Also, it is in a condo with 5/8 inch
sheetrock and metal studs so the wall width is 4 and 7/8 thick.
Where do I find, what kind of cost, and how available? Thanks

I am remodeling my main bathroom…I need to install a pocket door to replace the 24″ bathroom door it presently has. Do your kits allow me to reuse the door? Or is it not possible due to the hole already in it for regular door hardware? If I want to install a 24″ door again, how much room do I need to install a pocket door? I think I remember something about 2 times the door width, plus 1 inch? Is that right…about 49 inches? And do you have a phone number so I can call and ask questions and order pocket door kits and a new door if I need it?? Thank you.
