Pocket door frame kits can be used in any wall that is made for a two by four (2 x 4) thickness and up.  Our 1500 series pocket door frames kits, used with our pocket door jamb kits for different drywall thickness, can accommodate all your needs for this wall thickness. For two by six (2 x 6) walls, use our 1560 series pocket door frame kits, combined with our jamb kits in many different woods.  For odd size walls, you can either build your own wall, with our loose track and rollers, or our ready made frame kits, with custom made jamb kits.  Also see our heavier 2000 and 2060 series frame kits that will hold 300 pound doors.  For options where you have to mount hardware on the outside of the wall, see our wall mount hardware

You can see that with all the combinations of pocket door frame kits, jamb kits, loose  track and rollers, and our wall mount hardware, we can accommodate almost any wall thickess.  The only thing that we can’t accommodate is wall thicknesses for less than two by four (2 x 4) wall thicknesses, which is 3  1/2″ thick, plus the thickness of your drywall.
